Engines, Ride, and Handling

Buyers can choose from three different powertrains. Models wearing the Td6 badge are powered by a 254-hp turbocharged diesel 3.0-liter V-6 which managed a 7.6-second zero-to-60-mph time when we tested it back in 2016.

Land Rover launched a new inline-six cylinder engine this year which comes in two potencies: P360-badged models make 355 horsepower and P400 models crank out 395. The inline-six is assisted by a 48-volt hybrid system to make its claimed horsepower ratings; we haven't tested a Range Rover Sport with this new powertrain.
